Why is it worth it to invest in NASA's manned missions?

Visit the following pages to investigate the technology we use because of Nasa's research.  You must visit Site A and then choose either Site B or Site C to explore. Use the worksheet to record your findings and share them with your family.

Site A - Nasa Spinoff -  Nasa's homepage for Spinoffs.
    1.  Choose two Spinoff Spotlights to investigate. Describe it.
    2. Choose at least one back issue of Spinoff magazine to explore.
        Look at the table of contents and explore several areas that Nasa's research has affected.
        Describe the two spinoffs you find most interesting. They can be from different areas or even different issues.


Note: A Nasa spinoff is a commeically avialable product that uses Nasa technology while a Nasa success is a Nasa technology that is not available on the market but is used for the public's good through partnerships with government, acedemia and industry. Look for "successes" in the table of contents unders Partnership Successes.
